『Redout』の続編となる本作は、大規模なシングルプレイヤーキャンペーンと競争力のあるマルチプレイヤーが含まれた宇宙最速のレーシングゲームです。
『ワイプアウト』や『F-ZERO』のようなクラシックな反重力レーシングゲームの伝統を受け付いだタイトルになっているとのこと。
