現地時間8月29日に放送された「Yacht Club Games Presents」で、「ショベルナイト」のDLC『Shovel Knight Showdown』『Shovel Knight King of Cards』のトレーラーが公開されました。
物理的なリリースも計画されており、衣装などのロックを解除可能なamiiboパックも発売されます。
