待っていたファンには残念なニュースがあり、パッケージ版発売がキャンセルされることが本日両社から発表されています。
詳細なキャンセル理由は明らかにされていませんが、「新しいプラットフォームにHollow Knightをもたらすために、私たちがTeamCherry Gamesと作業することがなくなり、私たちは悲しんでいます。我々は本当にゲームが大好きで、TeamCherryが成功して欲しいと願っています。 私たちは、彼らの次なるものが見れることを楽しみにしています。」とSkybound Gamesがメッセージを送っています。

なお、将来的には『Hollow Knight』の物理的なバージョンを提供するためにTeam Cherryが他の方法を検討するようですが、少量である可能性があるとのことです。
