本作は、プレイヤーが若い英雄となり、生涯をかけて古代の悪から故郷を救おうとするRPGです。
このゲームは2016年3月にリリースされたVR専用タイトル『Chronos』に基づいていますが、VRのサポートを必要とせずに、すべてのプラットフォームで機能するようにオーバーホールおよび最適化されているとのこと。
『Chronos: Before the Ashes』は、海外向けとして2020年12月1日に発売される予定です。
